What would an ideal weight be for me? Any advice on fitness before joining the Royal Navy?
By admin | April 13, 2010
I Currently weigh 14stone 6lbs, I’m 6ft 2 and have a large frame. I’m finding it difficult to loose weight at the moment; i lost a fair amount over the past year yet now i seem to be on a stand still – any ideas why?
In January i applied to the RN, although i need to improve my fitness further to pass the PJFT – has anyone got any specific advice i could follow?
Thanks alot guys.

Hello there,
I think your weight is fine because your a tall person. If i were you i’d forget about loosing weight and focus on gettin your running up to scratch. Just keep running, run a 1.5mile monday, bike ride tuesday, 1.5mile run wednesday, bike ride thursday. 3mile run friday. weekend rest. You do that and you will breeze RN training. best of luck!
