what qualifications do you need to become a fitness instructor?
By admin | April 7, 2010
I am interested in becoming a fitness instructor, what qualifications would I need?
Also what insurances do you need to set up your own classes?
Is it good money – I am thinking if you charge £3.00 per class and ten people attend that’s £30.00 for an hours work – sounds good but is it realistic?
Thanks for any advice

is realistic if you got the money to advertise heavily and pay rent to the centre. you need a level 2 gym instructors qual. just to watch someone in the gym, if you wanted to take a class e.g circuits you need to do level 1s NVQ in numerous courses including exercise to music. if you aspire to be a personal trainer you need to be advanced level 3 qualified which can take 2 years, the level 2 takes 1 year and the level 1s, a few weeks
