what are people's views on manual treadmills?

we’re thinking of buying a treadmill and are curious to know what people’s views are on manual treadmills. Do they work or are they useless?

Best to spend a bit more and get a really good one, preferably a professional one. They sell them on ebay for around £350. Worth every penny.

Personal i think if you are gonna go with a manual one you might as well jsut go for a walk , but if you gho with a power one it is diffrent becuase you have to keep your pace with the machine

Manual treadmills are even more monotonous than electric ones. As you have to get off to adjust the incline they are pretty restrictive.
The whole point of running or walking is that you are on a journey. Why not pop on some music and practice your dance moves instead, or do some housework. It would be bettter excercise and more fun.
Electric treadmills are dangerous. A freind of mine died falling on a treadmill. Injuries are pretty common.

Spend your money on a gym membership where there is a variety of machines and weights. Don’t get caught up in the idea of that you can do your fitness program at home, all what happens is that you will do it for a week or so then not bother. If you go to a gym you will be getting an all round fitness program which a treadmill can’t do.

They make alot of noise, if I had to choose, Id rather get an electronic one or go running outside.
