There’s a distinct difference between running outside and on treadmill, and they both have their positives and negatives. The top notch benefit of using a treadmill is that you will never have to contend with the elements of being outside, which depending on where you are in world can get bitterly cold or sizzling hot.

There’s a cushioned surface on the treadmill that will lessen the impact of running, which can reduce the number of shin splints that occur from outside running. There are motivational factors that make a treadmill a very appealing form of exercising where you have the power to manually adjust your terrain with different speeds, all controlled by you and your fingertips.

Depending on where you are, it may be extremely difficult to find such terrain differences to ensure that you have a diverse running path, something that a treadmill can offer at all times.

The downside to the treadmill if there is one is that it confines you the size of the treadmill, which in turn will limit the amount of capable movement you can perform.

Running, jogging, or walking outside can maximize the amount your muscles are impacted through the movement in your body caused by the terrain and this has been known to cause more calories to be burned as a result. So the ability to limit your body’s natural running movement is the only drawback to using a treadmill.

If you do use a treadmill, it is highly advised not to use it more than 30-45 minutes per session as your body will be maxed out at that point.

If you do not feel that your body is getting enough out of it, then you are encouraged to begin some type of interval training on the machine, which will vary your length and terrain as you see fit. It is also recommended that you should use some form of weight training with cardio exercises to reap total benefit.

If you are looking to burn some calories a treadmill, or any cardio machine for that matter, will give you the maximize desired benefits. It is not about how long you use this machine but the variance of your workout that will determine the effectiveness of what you are doing that will show you how great the treadmill is.

So you’re excited about buying a treadmill. You’re looking forward to having a premium piece of fat-burning equipment available to you 24-7 at your convenience.

Rain, snow, sleet or hail, it doesn’t matter because you’ll be able to workout anyway!

But wait a minute – there’s so many treadmill brands to choose from!

And why are there so many differences of opinion?

If you’ve read many treadmill reviews in your search for the best treadmill you may have ended up a little confused:

One person swears by their Proform treadmill; another says it’s a piece of junk. One expert loves Nordic Track; another expert wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole.

How are you supposed to make a smart decision with so many conflicting reviews?

To help you out, here are the top 3 things to keep in mind when reading treadmill reviews:

#1) Consider this: It’s just ONE PERSON’S opinion.

People have different opinions on everything from movies to ice cream to cars to cities. Someone prefers Honda to General Motors. Another person prefers Dell over IBM.

That doesn’t mean that one thing is necessarily better than another, it just means somebody has a preference for it.

So just because you really want to buy a Landice and one person may not agree with you doesn’t make it a bad buy for you.

Keeping an open mind is always a good thing and listening to other’s peoples’ reasoning behind their decision can help you with your purchase.

But in the end it’s your choice and it’s YOUR opinion that matters.

Just because somebody doesn’t like what you like, that doesn’t mean you are going to make a bad decision. If your treadmill has everything YOU need, then that’s what’s important.

#2) Consider this: Who’s writing the review?

I’ve read so many ‘user reviews’ on treadmill websites that are clearly NOT written by a normal treadmill buyer.

The lingo smacks of a treadmill salesperson. And while I’m not making any accusations here, when a treadmill buyer writes something like:

“Let’s look at the features of the ABC treadmill and see what they mean to you…”

or

“The XYZ treadmill offers an Optical Speed Sensor used in combination with the PWM motor controller to produce the smoothest speed changes. The optical eye actually counts the revolutions of the motor directly at the axle…”

I get just a little bit suspicious.

If the review sounds a little too much like a treadmill brochure, take it with a grain of salt.

(That doesn’t mean that the quality of the treadmill is bad or good, mind you. Just make sure you don’t base your decision on those reviews alone.)

#3) Consider this: Flukes DO happen.

Even the BEST treadmill manufacturers sometimes make a dud. Nobody has a 100% customer satisfaction rate ALL the time.

And unfortunately, it’s usually those people that have had BAD experiences that leave nasty reviews of their treadmills.

They have every right to do this of course. Hopefully the treadmill manufacturers read these reviews and do something about them.

But keep in mind that one bad review doesn’t prove it’s a low quality brand just as one stellar review doesn’t prove it’s a high quality brand.

The Bottom Line:

Trust your own decision.

If you’ve taken the time to research treadmills, chances are you know what makes a quality treadmill.

Don’t let one person’s opinion ruin the fun of getting in shape with YOUR choice of home treadmill. Good luck and have fun!

The #1 fear people have when buying a treadmill is that they won’t use it. (That’s the #1 fear when buying any piece of exercise equipment).

They know that a treadmill can help them lose weight, get fit, burn extra calories and reach their fitness goals.

But that’s only if you use it. A treadmill is a large investment to make and you want to be sure that it is the right piece of exercise equipment for your needs.

How do you know if a treadmill is right for you? How do you know if it’s suitable for the kind of exercise that fits your lifestyle?

If you’re thinking about buying a treadmill, here are 3 ways to tell if a treadmill is the right piece of exercise equipment for you:

#1 Do you prefer to exercise alone or in groups?

Walking on a treadmill is not a group activity (it could be – but that’s a little dangerous). If you prefer to exercise with other people, say for example in a group sports situation, a treadmill might not be the best choice for you.

Of course a treadmill can add another side to your exercise options if you do get most of your exercise from social or group sports. But if you absolutely hate exercising by yourself, don’t buy a treadmill.

On the other hand, some people enjoy exercising on their own – it’s a sort of getaway from the constant social buzz surrounding them every day. A treadmill would be great for someone looking for this kind of exercise ‘retreat’.

#2) Do you prefer to exercise outdoors or indoors?

Some people prefer to exercise outdoors. They take hikes to enjoy the beauty of nature or rollerblade down the sidewalks to take in the fresh air. If you prefer to be outdoors to exercise then a treadmill probably isn’t for you.

And if you live in all-year-round sunny, warm weather, you may not need a treadmill (then again, you may prefer an air-conditioned workout.)

However, if you happen to live in seasonal climates where it rains, snows or both, a treadmill can be a handy tool to maintain your fitness regimen during the bleak weather months. A treadmill can help you fight winter weight gain and even stave off those nasty winter blues.

#3 Do you enjoy walking, jogging or running?

Walking is an exercise that everybody can do. It’s simple, doesn’t require heightened coordination, and can be a great way to clear your head and deal with stress. Anyone can do it, regardless of fitness level – from absolute beginner to elite athlete.

There are also people who enjoy the rhythm and routine of jogging or running. Running or jogging is also one of the best all-round ways to burn fat. Again, it’s fairly simple to do and doesn’t require complex coordination.

While the benefits to walking, jogging and running are numerous, some people just don’t like to exercise this way. They like the challenge of a box-aerobics class or mastering a complicated martial art. If you fall into this category, a treadmill will not meet your exercise preferences and it probably isn’t the right machine for you.

If you do like walking but still want a challenge or even a distraction, there are easy ways to do this, of course.

Treadmills are growing more sophisticated all the time offering numerous built-in workout programs, upper-body workout arms and even built-in stereo systems for you to plug-in your favorite CD’s.

There’s also the magazine rack so you can read your latest Time or People magazine. And of course, the most popular method: setting your treadmill up in front of the television (or buying a mini-television to mount above your treadmill).

You can always make your workout more interesting with your home treadmill – but if you don’t enjoy walking, jogging or running, you might want to steer clear of the treadmill.

So those are 3 ways to tell if a treadmill is right for you. With our busy lifestyles and lack of time, the home treadmill also offers several other unique benefits, which you might want to consider before buying:

#1) Exercise Convenience

With a home treadmill you can jump on it at any time day or night. You don’t have to waste time driving to the gym. You don’t have to work around your gym’s hours or schedule your workout around those ‘peak times’. You don’t have to rush to sign up for a treadmill at the gym. It’s all yours. Workout whenever you want – and for however long you want.

With our jam-packed schedules these days, time is at a premium. While you may not have a long period of time to carve out for exercise, experts tell us that ‘mini-workouts’ give us the same benefits as long workouts. So instead of doing 30 minutes straight, with your own treadmill you can do 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night.

There’s a third convenience to having a home treadmill – you can wear what you want. No worrying about if your hair is staying under your baseball cap. No rushing to find the right T-shirt for the gym. While this may seem trivial – it can actually make a difference in how much you exercise!

#2) Exercise Comfort

With a home treadmill, you can exercise in the comfort of your own home. No worrying about the rain, snow or sleet that’s pouring down outside. You can jump on your treadmill with your favorite sports drink, turn on your favorite show and burn away those calories.

No worrying about winter weight gain or holiday pounds – because you have the tools at your disposal to easily work off any extra calories.

#3) More Calories Burned, More Weight Lost = Better Body Achieved

Because you can exercise when you want, for how long you want, regardless of weather or even busy schedules, you’ll use your treadmill much more. And when you exercise more, you burn more calories, lose more weight and achieve a better body. This is always a benefit!

Home treadmills continue to be the most popular exercise machines with buyers today. They offer convenience, comfort and more opportunities to enjoy getting in shape.

If you decide that a treadmill is right for you, know that you’ll be investing both in a great exercise machine and a better, healthier body!

Keys treadmills are a good quality range of treadmills offering brilliant motor warranties and some nice features. They are priced between $1,000 to $2,300 so offer a decent machine at a cost effective price.

The best feature of keys treadmills is the motor warranty which is set to 10 years. One of the most important parts of a treadmill is the motor and if it breaks down the repair cost can usually be quite hefty. With a 10 year warranty you will have no such worries. This also provides testament to the durability of these machines.

If you are overweight or expect to be using the treadmill a lot then a keys treadmill might be worth looking at further.

What amazes me is although the machines have a 10 year motor warranty they are only priced in the mid-price range. A lot of commercial treadmills that have 10 years motor warranties are priced $5,000 and up. Some even approach $10,000

Keys Fitness, manufacture all their treadmills in the USA but import parts from overseas to help them stay competitive. As a result their machines may not be as high a quality compared to other machines made solely in the US where an eye can be kept over the production process.

Advantages

The price tag of these machines range from as little as $1,000 and as high as $2,300. For this price, you’ll get a 10 year motor warranty and a lifetime warranty on frames. If durability is your number one concern then Keys treadmills offer a serious advantage over other brands.

Disadvantages

As they are not made entirely in the USA their structural quality may not be as good as other better known brands. Also $2,000 might be a bit steep for some people so you might be better off looking at cheaper treadmills that still have a decent motor warranty (about 3 years).

Recommendation

Although this brand is known for being of average structural quality, newer models have been showing some improvements. For most people a 10 year warranty is not essential, 3 years will suffice. I recommend for people considering a Key treadmill to look at other brands with a lower motor warranty but better overall quality.

Choosing the best home treadmill can be confusing as you sift through all of the options, new models, and brand name 'deals'.

Choosing the best home treadmill can be confusing as you sift through all of the options, new models, and brand name ‘deals’. Too often, people get caught up in all the ‘Goodies’ a treadmill offers them that they miss the fact that the treadmill doesn’t have the basic essentials of a quality unit.

By knowing the 4 basic essentials of a quality home treadmill, you’ll be able to quickly sift through the treadmill deals and choose the best home treadmill for you.

The 4 basic essentials to a quality treadmill are:

#1 – High Powered, Well Built Motor

Since the motor is the most expensive part of the treadmill to fix, a good motor is essential to your treadmill. Try to find at least a motor power of 2.0 HP, preferably higher.

Remember that a 1.5 HP motor has to work twice as hard as a 3.0 HP motor – so it will burn out long before the 3.0 HP motor.

Also, not all motors are built with the same quality parts. Look for a good brand name and a long motor warranty to give you clues as to the quality of the motor.

#2 – Excellent Cushioning

There’s not enough said about cushioning and it is so important in a home treadmill. A good cushioning system protects your joints, ligaments and back. A poor cushioning system can result in injury and pain.

I know of one woman who bought a cheaper brand of treadmill and then ran on it. Within 6 months, she had damaged her hips so badly that it hurt her to even walk on the treadmill. You definitely don’t want that!

Make sure your treadmill offers an excellent cushioning system – especially if you’ll be running!

#3 – Extensive Warranty

You want to protect your investment so a solid treadmill warranty is a must. A good treadmill warranty will cover the frame for at least 30 years, the motor for at least 5 years and other parts and labor for about 1 year. Anything above that and you’ve got an excellent warranty.

But a warranty isn’t just to protect your investment – a good warranty lets you know about the quality of the treadmill parts.

Treadmill companies do not include warranties because they think they’ll have to fix the treadmill within that time frame. They know that they WON’T have to fix them within that time frame because the quality of parts used are high. So if you find a treadmill with a 10 year motor warranty, you KNOW it’s a quality built motor. If the motor warranty is only 90 days however…that tells you something.

#4 – Quality Brand Name

Certain brand names have a reputation for building a high quality home treadmill. Other brand names may be well-known but they don’t necessarily have a good reputation.

Choose a treadmill that has a solid, trusted brand name. Not sure which brands are good? Check out expert ratings and ‘Best Buys’ on various treadmill review sites and/or magazines. You’ll start to see a trend where certain brand names come up frequently. These brands are the quality treadmill manufacturers.

So those are 4 basic essentials of a good home treadmill:

High Powered, Well Built Motor

Excellent Cushioning

Extensive Warranty

Quality Brand Name

Knowing these, you can sift through the treadmills available and easily locate the best treadmill for your home.

Proform treadmills are manufactured by the company Proform. Proform is another subsidiary of Icon Health and Fitness, Inc. Proform is one of the best known names in home treadmills since they’ve been around for years.

Proform treadmills are economical and do offer lots of workout features. With the advent of higher quality treadmills for a similar price, it only makes sense to consider a Proform treadmill if individuals budget is extremely limited. Proform treadmill is a better option for users who are looking for a standard treadmill under $1000.

Proform treadmill is not suitable for frequent treadmill users, heavier individuals or competitive runners.

The main strength of Proform treadmills is their affordability since they range in price from $500 to $1000. Another strength of Proform treadmills is that if users want features like iFit compatibility (download new treadmill workout programs from the Internet), CD players, workout fans and hand weights, they can probably find it in a Proform treadmill.

Proform has one of the largest treadmill line ups in the market and there are tons of treadmill options to choose from.

The Proform 540 treadmill ranges from $500 to $799. This model offers running surface up to 19 x 55″, incline adjustment up to 10%, 300 pound user weight capacity, cool air workout fan operating at 2 speeds and a 2.75HP motor capable of speeds up to 10 mph. This Proform treadmill model has a space saving design and can be folded away after use. The Proform 540 treadmill offers a 10 year warranty on motor and 90 day warranty on all other parts and labor. The warranty period of this model is very impressive especially considering the point that this model can be purchased just under $800. This treadmill model is not suitable for runners or heavier users.

The Proform 995 SEL treadmill can be purchased for $689. This treadmill model offers running surface up to 20 x 55″, incline adjustment up to 10%, a 2.75HP motor capable of speeds up to 10 mph, 200 pounds user weight capacity, free 2 pounds hand weights for upper body workout while walking and iFit compatibility to download new treadmill workout programs from Internet. This model of Proform also comes in space saving design and can be folded away after use. The Proform 995 SEL treadmill rates fairly well with buyers and is an affordable price machine. This Proform treadmill model is not suitable for runners or heavier users. The major disadvantage of this treadmill is that it offers no warranty and is a large & heavy machine.

Proform Crosswalk Caliber treadmill provides users a treadmill plus upper body workout arms. The Crosswalks adjustable resistance arms allow the user to customize the intensity of their arm workout. This treadmill offers running surface up to 18 x 55″, incline adjustment up to 10%, 1.75HP motor capable of speeds up to 10 mph, EKG grip pulse sensors, 6 built in workouts, cool air workout fans, iFit compatibility with 2 free iFit CDs and folding option. The main advantage of this treadmill is its ability to cross strain by using the arms. This model can be purchased for $799.

Proform Pacetrainer treadmill is available at a price of $399 and is probably the cheapest Proform treadmills. It offers a motor of 2.25 HP capable of speeds up to 10 mph, incline adjustment up to 10%, running surface area up to 16 x 50″, 3 year motor warranty, EKG thumb pulse sensor to monitor heart rate, cool air workout fans and space spacing design.

Advantage of this Proform treadmill is obviously the price and the warranty period of the motor. Proform Pacetrainer treadmill has a very small area to move and run on.

Proform treadmills are a good option for users who have a budget limited under $1000. Proform treadmills are neither solid nor reliable. However, features like space saving design, iFit compatibility, heart rate monitoring, workout programs, etc are noteworthy especially considering the price of these treadmills.

The #1 fear that people have when investing in a home treadmill (or any piece of exercise equipment) is that they won't use it. You know the story. It gets delivered, you set it up and enjoy it for a few days...and then it sits...and waits.

The #1 fear that people have when investing in a home treadmill (or any piece of exercise equipment) is that they won’t use it.

You know the story. It gets delivered, you set it up and enjoy it for a few days…and then it sits…and waits.

A few months down the road, you notice how dusty it has become and how much space it’s taking up. And you remember how much weight you were determined to lose by using it faithfully every day. But now, unfortunately, it doubles as a clothes rack.

Never fear. This article will help you make sure that DOESN’T happen.

A treadmill provides the best overall cardiovascular workout & it’s still the number one exercise machine for those who want to lose weight. So it’s an investment in your health that will pay large dividends…if you are prepared to get the maximum benefit from it!

Here are 5 easy ways to get the BEST use from your home treadmill:

#1) Do your research first

Make sure you look at what each treadmill offers you and compare it to your unique needs.

For example, if you live in a condo and/or like things neat and clean, a folding treadmill might suit you best. If you want a folding treadmill, do you prefer a manual folding treadmill (like most folding treadmills) or do you want a shock-assisted folding treadmill with wheels on the bottom that’s easy to move?

If you like to drink water during your workout, make sure there’s a water bottle holder included in the treadmill console (it might surprise you how many treadmills do not have this feature.)

Do you get bored easily and need a challenge? What about getting a treadmill with lots of user programs or one that is iFit compatible?

These things may seem little and maybe it might cost you a bit more; but if it means you’re actually going to enjoy your workout it will be well worth it!

#2) Place the treadmill in a ‘happy’ spot.

By ‘happy’ I mean well-lit, open and stimulating. Don’t put it so you face the bare wall when you walk or run. I’ve tried this this and the workouts don’t last long! If you get bored easily, put it facing the television or facing a window where you can have an attractive view while working out.

Rooms and spaces have definite ‘feels’ to them and that will affect the success of your workouts. Make sure your treadmill is placed in an area that makes you feel energized, happy and mentally stimulated.

#3) Get your exercise arsenal ready BEFORE the treadmill arrives.

Do you like listening to fast music when you exercise? Do you like watching your favorite movies? What about reading magazines? What inspires you to work out and feel your best?

Get these things ready even before your treadmill arrives and you’ll be three-quarters of the way there. Have several workout or favorite CD’s around. Get your favorite movies or shows on tape. Gather your favorite magazines.

By having an ‘exercise’ stash around your treadmill, you’ll be inspired to workout AND you won’t be stuck running around looking for something to do when you want to start exercising.

Again, this may seem simple, but it works. Why do you think gyms have magazines, televisions and CD players handy?

#4) Make an exercise plan.

Before you start working out, try making a plan, a “roadmap to your rock-hard body” so to speak. By writing down how long and what kind of workout you’ll be doing in week 1, 2, 3, 4 etc, you’ll get yourself psyched up for success.

Remember that every time you workout, you are planting the seeds for the kind of dream body that you want.

By having a plan, you can see just how many seeds you’ve planted (and even how long it will take to start reaping the results!) Have fun with it and you’ll be motivated to achieve your health goals (and get maximum benefits from your treadmill!)

#5) Track your progress

Ok this is related to #4 but it’s more of an ongoing thing. By tracking your progress every day, you get a major sense of accomplishment which snowballs into even greater fat-burning results.

I suggest you have ‘minimum goals’ like “I’ll walk for at least 10 minutes.” or “I’ll do 5-30 second intervals.” These are easy to do and you’ll probably go beyond them – which will encourage you even further and heighten your sense of accomplishment.

And of course, you’re also getting maximum benefit from your treadmill!

Those are 5 ways to get best use from your home treadmill. Just remember that even a little bit of preparation will pay off large dividends in the long run.

Let’s face it, buying a used treadmill is always going to be something of a gamble. For many people, the sticker price of new treadmills can be daunting. A very basic treadmill can start as little as $400, and the premium models with all the bells and whistles can be over $3000. So many people opt for a used or discount treadmill hoping to save some money.

But how do you know that the treadmill you are buying is a good one? One good way to find out if that used treadmill is going to be worth it is to do some homework. All the different brands of exercise equipment are not the same. Some are definitely of better quality than others. Read treadmill reviews and treadmill ratings for the brand of treadmill you are looking at purchasing. Chances are, if it has an excellent rating as a new piece of exercise equipment, it will also be a good used item, as well.

Some of the things you should consider when buying a used treadmill include the age and the frequency that it was used. A good rule of thumb is to never buy a used treadmill that is more than five years old. Equipment that old is going to need some major work very soon.

Experts suggest that you should never pay more than 50% for used exercise equipment. This is the going rate; so don’t offer more than that.

When buying a treadmill, you should consider all the features of it. It must suit your needs or it is not a bargain. Things like speed, incline, deck type, type of motor and belt, user-friendly control and display panels, durability and stability of the frame and the safety features are all things that should be looked at before buying. Again, checking the ratings for safety and performance of the type of treadmill you are looking at will give you a lot of insight into how it will perform as a used piece of equipment.

There are many companies that sell remanufactured or refurbished exercise equipment. This is equipment that has been sent to a factory and had all the worn parts replaced and been spiffed up to look as good as new. This is a good option for a discount treadmill, because they usually come with some type of warranty.

There are many places to find out about the ratings for treadmills, both new and used. Checking online sources, reading magazines and publications for exercise equipment and asking people who own and run exercise gyms are all good ways to find out about the best and worst treadmill ratings and reviews. This way, you can make an informed purchase of discount or used treadmills with confidence.

Thinking about buying a treadmill but worried about the high price? Take a look at remanufactured or used treadmills, one of the best fitness deals around. They are fully refurbished and often come with an excellent warranty.

Thinking about buying a treadmill but worried about the high price? Take a look at remanufactured or used treadmills, one of the best fitness deals around. They are much more than just used machines; they are fully refurbished and often come with an excellent warranty.

What are Remanufactured Treadmills?

Remanufactured treadmills are used machines, but with an important difference. They have been completely refurbished to “almost new” condition by a professional fitness equipment company and they are generally covered by a warranty. Best of all, they are priced at up to 50% less than a new treadmill, making them an excellent choice for most people’s needs.

Where do Used Treadmills Come From?

Companies that sell remanufactured treadmills may obtain them in several ways. Some are warranty returns, but most are from clubs and fitness centers that are updating or changing their equipment. A few come back due to financial distress or non-payment of balances due. In most cases, a reputable re-seller will only refurbish and sell the equipment they feel is of the highest quality.

What is the difference between refurbished and remanufactured?

Most sellers of used treadmills use these words interchangeably, but their actual refurbishment processes can vary. Some will put a machine through basic testing and touch up, while others will take machines apart and replace key parts before re-selling.

What should I know before buying a used treadmill?

Before buying a used treadmill of any kind, take the time to do some research about the refurbishment process used by the seller. The best processes will include most of the following steps:

*Complete disassembly of all parts

*Full frame refinishing rather than touch up

*Testing and rebuild of mechanical systems using new parts that meet manufacturer specifications

*Testing and rebuild of electrical systems using new parts that meet manufacturer specifications

*Reassembly and thorough testing of all functions and operations

What are the advantages of buying remanufactured treadmills?

There are several advantages to buying remanufactured treadmills, such as:

Price – You can often buy a previously used, remanufactured treadmill for up to 50% less than a comparable brand new treadmill.

Quality – The quality of remanufactured treadmills is nearly new in most cases, with many key parts replaced before the treadmill is re-sold.

Value – Many remanufactured models are commercial-grade machines that you would normally find in a fitness club rather than in a private home. This means you can access excellent equipment at moderate prices, making your dollar stretch farther.

Warranty – Most remanufactured machines come with some sort of warranty, which is added protection for you as a buyer. The best treadmill warranties on used machines will be for at least six months and sometimes even longer.

Summary

When it comes to buying used treadmills, there is no need to settle for an “as is” piece of equipment. You can buy a fully refurbished and remanufactured treadmill that looks and feels new but is priced up to 50% less than a brand new machine. Find a reputable re-seller that thoroughly remanufactures and tests every treadmill, and look for a good warranty to go along with it. If you shop carefully, you will usually find that remanufactured treadmills are among the best deals around.

There is no doubt that Proform treadmills are an excellent tool to help us get fit. One of the most well known names in fitness equipment, Pro form treadmills combine quality construction with technological innovation, all at a reasonable price.

We all want to achieve the toned and slender look that working out gives our body, right? Strong and sleek and ready to be shown off – whats not to love! Unfortunately, achieving that gorgeous body can sometimes be harder work than it would be in an ideal world, and working out can just get plain old boring after a while. And while the incentive to exercise is always there, it sometimes simply isnt strong enough to drag us through those predictable, repetitive sessions. Who isnt jealous of those energetic folks who say they love exercise? Thankfully there is a fitness company called Proform treadmills who have come up with a plan for the rest of us, and now, with Proform treadmills and iFit technology, we can learn to love exercise too.

There is no doubt that Proform treadmills are an excellent tool to help us get fit. One of the most well known names in fitness equipment, Pro form treadmills combine quality construction with technological innovation, all at a reasonable price. Manufactured by Icon Fitness, one of the largest producers of exercise equipment in the US, the Proform treadmill package includes quality Proform treadmill parts, including good motors, clear and easy to read electronic readouts, and other great features, including a running deck with adjustable cushioning, ensuring that your Proform treadmill is as comfortable to use as possible. And while reviewers invariably write positive things about the Proform review treadmill they try out, even the most positive among them will admit that there is nothing in this Pro form treadmill package that could tempt the unwilling among us to come back for a workout time and time again.

But perhaps the most important of all the Proform treadmill parts that come together to make the manufacturer one of the most popular is the innovation with which they build their exercise equipment. Proform treadmills seem to have been designed by ordinary people like you and me – people who simply dont think that running in a straight line for a half an hour every day is something that youd do willingly. Unless you incorporate something that makes exercise a little more interesting.

iFit Technology – Introducing a Challenge to Your Workout

Have you ever noticed how a session at the gym can pass before you know it? Whether you take part in an exercise class with an enthusiastic instructor who shouts encouraging slogans at you each time you feel your legs start to weaken or try to see if you can do more reps on the tricep machine than the big burly guy who used it before you, there is something about the company of others when exercising that brings out your competitive streak. And by using a Pro form treadmill and the innovative iFit technology, you can achieve this same thing at home.

iFit is a supplement to your treadmill workout that shakes things up and makes them interesting. By hooking up to the internet, you can record your training history and track your progress. iFit will devise a personal workout program for you, so that each time you set foot on your Proform treadmill, you will have a new goal to reach, and a personal best to beat – after all, isnt the most fun kind of competition the one you have with yourself?

iFit technology also allows you listen to music as you workout, and provides inspirational images that can be the backdrop to your run – fancy running in the park today? iFit allows you do just that, without having to set foot off your Pro form treadmill.

iFits latest innovation can even recreate that enthusiastic gym instructor – there is now a facility that allows you interact with a personal trainer online, as you exercise! You can compliment your running session with a strength training workout, helping you get the results you want even quicker. And with a personal trainers critical eye beaming right into your living room, you know youll keep up with your treadmill sessions!

So if you want to find out what the Proform treadmill reviews are talking about, try one for yourself, and make your workout even better by challenging yourself with an ifit workout. Not only will it help you get that gorgeous body that you deserve, you might actually find that you love working out too!
