do treadmills use a lot of electricity?
By admin | April 9, 2010
ive been a member of the gym for a few month but dont have much time to go and was thinking of buying a treadmill instead but will this be more cost effective than gym fees for which i dont have time to go to after paying electrity bills for running it?

not really and some use self powering. check with the equipment manufacturers as to how much the use and then you can cost it out.
I would be very surprised if gym membership was cheaper than using the treadmill.
do you not use any other gym machines? just treadmill has limited applications in physical development.

wether treadmills use electric or not you still do not get the full capacity of a fitness work out … for instance if u are a boxer and u want to get fit there is no point going to ur local gym and using a treadmill you are better of doing it naturelle… wind for the effect of coming forward in a bout and the rain hitting your eyes to help u not to flinch in a bout too.
if u use machines in the gym and then use free wieghts working on the same muscle location u will still use other muscles that a machine wont work.

I think you can buy eco friendly ones but I not reccomend it as they could cut out when you are running. Then you would run into the frame. OUCH!!! Good luck with whatever option you choose to go for.
